All victims of Castro’s tyranny; a political prisoner murdered while on a hunger strike, four men on a humanitarian mission, flying in unarmed civilian aircraft shot down over international waters.  

If you are in southern California, come join us in front of the José Martí statue in Echo Park Lake in Los Angeles at 3  pm.  Bring your posters, and flags.

In Miami, at 3:21 pm, there is a  silent vigil for justice at the main fountain between the Charles Perry Bldg., Graham Center, and the FIU Main Library.  11200 S.W. 8th Street. 


A Vigil for Truth and Justice, at 5:30 pm at the Brothers to the Rescue Monument in front of Hialeah Gardens City Hall, 10001 NW 87 Avenue, Hialeah Gardens, FL 33016. Mayor Yioset De La Cruz will welcome the Miami community to remember what happened fifteen years ago when Cuban MiGs shot down two Brothers to the Rescue planes on a humanitarian mission over the Florida Straits.

 Members of Brothers to the Rescue, as well as other invited guests, will address the crowd with their thoughts on the quest for truth and justice.  We must never forget what happened fifteen years ago, and we can never rest until truth and justice have been met.
