Repression in Cuba in Four Easy Steps

Via Capitol Hill Cubans, the four easy steps to repression in Cuba:

Steps to Yesterday’s Repression
Yesterday, the Castro regime organized a mob of over 300 people to face down 35 peaceful Ladies in White, who simply wanted to walk together to celebrate Mass on the feast day of Our Lady of Mercy.

  1. All right, I admit it, I’m a pessimist. But someone please tell me how this is going to work. They have trained monkeys who know nothing except to get rewarded for doing no more than hating and oppressing others for a treat. In this hugely under fifty crowd, this monstrosity is all they know. Now the Coot brothers finally kick the bucket and the resistance manages to take over. Can anyone explain to me how these thousands of people suddenly become civilized and capable of being a part of the democratic process? Pa’mi, que la perla de las antillas se jodio hace mucho rato.

  2. Ali Kat,

I have good news and bad news for you…

The good news is that the vast majority of those people you see in the pictures and videos violently attacking the Ladies in White, will be the first ones marching in front of the Capitol building in Havana carrying signs saying “freedom” and “liberty” when the Castro regime falls.

The bad news is that a large part of the Cubans who will march in front of the Capitol building in Havana carrying signs saying “freedom” and “liberty” when the Castro regime falls will be same ones who in the past brutalized these women and other members of the opposition.
