Lenin idols falling fast in free Ukraine

“And on that day,” says the LORD of Heaven’s Armies, “I will erase idol worship throughout the land, so that even the names of the idols will be forgotten. I will remove from the land both the false prophets and the spirit of impurity that came with them.” (Zechariah 13:2).

There is no sight more beautiful to the eye of the right beholder: idols being destroyed.

There is no sweeter sound either: the clunk and the wham bang clink of idols being pulverized.

Of course, the idolaters tend to weep when their demonic images tumble and shatter.

But for those who have lived under the heavy yoke of  devils and devil-worshipers, the clunk and the wham bang clink are sheer delight.

Lenin statues are being toppled and dismembered all over Ukraine: over 100 in the past few days.   These iconoclastic riots fill the map of the former Soviet colony.

O, to live to see every image of the Castro brothers and Che obliterated.

O, sweet sweet day when their bones will be ground to dust and their names placed in the Hall of Infamy alongside Hitler’s and Lenin’s and Mao’s and Stalin’s where they justly belong.

Bringt mir mein Vorschlaghammer.  Ich habe viel zu tun, jetzt…

  1. Sheer delight, indeed. The very least Russia can do, given the incalculable damage the Soviet system did to so many people worldwide, is to incinerate Lenin’s damned mummy in a public bonfire.
