Yesterday marked the ten month anniversary since Lady in White Sonia Garro and her husband Ramon Alejandro Muñoz have been imprisoned by the Castro dictatorship in Cuba. The couple was violently arrested days before the arrival of Pope Benedict XVI to the island and have been kept in a Castro dungeon ever since under “preventive custody.” Their crime? They are peaceful human rights activists who dare to call out the brutality of the Cuban dictatorship.
Let us not forget Sonia, Ramon, and the hundreds of other political prisoners in Cuba rotting in Castro gulags. The international press is too busy covering the “reforms” of the Cuban regime, therefore, it is up to us to keep reminding everyone that Cuba is an island prison.

More information (in Spanish) on Sonia and Ramon available at Punt de Vista.
Just some bad Negroes. Move along.
