American Thinker: “IRS Targeted Conservative Hispanic Outreach Group, Too” (More @ The Gateway Pundit)

The Gateway Pundit: “Beck, Bachmann, Rand Paul, Mike Lee & Ted Cruz to Headline “Audit the IRS Rally” Wednesday in Washington DC”

But hey, we are all just being paranoid and blowing that whole NSA spying on Americans all out of proportion.

Is every country in South America going all Castro Cuba these days (previous post here)?

You can “Like” the Good Senator on Facebook. (Not sure if he’s on Twitter.)

More “Best Pickings”:

FOX News: “TWA Flight 800 investigators break silence in new documentary, claim original conclusion about cause of crash is wrong”

AoSHQ: “I’m not a “US person”…”

“‘Straight’ Men Should Be Banned From Driving, Says WH Petition”

“Hidden camera catches wireless company employees passing out ‘Obama phones’ to people who say they’ll SELL them for drugs, shoes, handbags and spending cash … The ‘Lifeline’ free-cell-phone scheme cost $2.2 BILLION last year alone, all of it from fees added to the phone bills of paying customers”

STUPIDEST damn premise of the day via NewsBusters: “MSNBC Panel Suggests Racist Motivation by Pro-lifers, Goal of ‘Reproducing Whiteness'”

Well, I think, the Census just released data, so part of it is the changing racial demographics in the United States. For the first time in American history, children born under the age of five are racial, the majority of them are racial and ethnic minorities in the U.S.

So I think that there’s a kind of moral panic, a fear of the end of whiteness that we’ve been seeing a long time in that I think, you know, Obama’s ascension as President kind of symbolizes to a certain degree. And so I think this is one response to that sense that there’s a decreasing white majority in the country and that women’s bodies and white women’s bodies in particular are obviously a crucial way of reproducing whiteness, white supremacy, white privilege. And so I think it’s just a kind of clamping down on women’s bodies, in particular white women’s bodies, even though women of color are really caught in the fray.

Remember, it’s this same ilk that are outraged when pro-life billboards, depicting the facts about black abortion numbers, are put up in black communities until those signs are taken down

Outstanding: “Vigilante neighborhood: ‘This is a Glock Block, we don’t call 911′”

I really can’t stand the guy, and loathe MSNBC, but it says something when even Russell Brand can come away from MSNBC as more highly intelligent and interesting, and making Mika Brzezinski squirm…

The guy actually sounded grounded and informed in his faux news delivery. Something completely foreign to MSNBC (pun intended).

  1. Regarding the protests in Brazil – I am down here in Belo Horizonte, Brazil and watching the local news about the protest currently happening near the stadium where the Nigeria-Tahiti match is being played. They are interviewing one of the “protest leaders.” So predictable – the guy is wearing a che guevara t-shirt and a military style cap with a Cuban flag and commie star on it. What is it with these people?
