Boston’s media gushes about new Missile Crisis exhibit at JFK library this week.
Fine. The JFK Library has its version of the Missile Crisis. (How JFK “stood up to Da Russians!..blah..blah..blah…. “a “combination of toughness and restraint, of will, nerve, and wisdom, so brilliantly controlled, so matchlessly calibrated that it dazzled the world!” according to the hyperventilations of Camelot Court Scribe Arthur Schlesinger Jr.) Fine.
But here at Babalu we’ve got a different version, which was showcased on Canadian TV last Oct:
Raul’s “dream” ,btw, was during a period when the U.S. was still offering his regime carrot after carrot, before the U.S. had even severed diplomatic relations with Cuba. Everything in the video fully-documented here.
