  1. They should also have learned that simply being “revolutionary” can be even better than being talented or hardworking. Just being politically correct and reliably “radical” can get you quite far, and keep you there. Just look at the lowlife marginal types that attached themselves to Fidel early on and magically became “comandantes historicos” who made out like bandits for the rest of their miserable lives. If crime didn’t pay, it wouldn’t happen.
