Kudos to Jared Leto and Kevin Spacey #SOSVenezuela

“To all the dreamers out there around the world watching this tonight, in places like Ukraine and Venezuela, I want to say we are here, and as you struggle to make your dreams happen, to live the impossible, we’re thinking of you tonight.”

— Jared Leto, upon receiving an Academy Award tonight for Best Supporting Actor, 3/2/14

  1. I was heartened by Leto’s remarks and the fact that liberalism’s phony piety was not featured as usual in this year’s Oscars show.
And I was happy to know about Kevin Spacey’s tweet, too. But Spacey in the past has said some silly things in favor of Obama’s policies with a seeming ignorance. I wonder what Spacey thinks of Obama’s wish to use the IRS to stifle opposition and his efforts to invade newsrooms and control newspapers here. While I despair of our national msm, I hope Kevin Spacey understands that everyone in the U.S. also has the right to express themselves(sic).
