Reconciling

For the moment, let us all believe everything the Cuban government says. We would then have to agree that:

  • Cuban society is perfect and anyone who says otherwise is an agent of imperialism and therefore deserves to be imprisoned.
  • Cuban society is imperfect and it is a revolutionary duty to denounce those defects.
  • Cuban society is imperfect and it is a revolutionary duty to confront those who denounce its defects.
  • All Cubans support the government except for a small group of agents at the service of imperialism.
  • The agents at the service of imperialism are nothing more than a small group.
  • The enemy is all around us.
  • You have to remain alert at all times because the revolution can be destroyed from the inside.
  • The Revolution is indestructible.
  • In Cuba there is a perfect democracy where the government respects and obeys the will of the people.
  • Cuba is under the perpetual threat of imperialism and therefore it has all the rights in the world to repress all who oppose the government.
  • Messrs. Imperialists, we have absolutely no fear of you.
  • We have to be very careful when it comes to imperialist media outlets, imperialist propaganda, imperialist fashion, imperialist cartoons, imperialist toys, imperialist caps and sports equipment, imperialist antennas, imperialist cellular phones, and imperialist laptop computers because they can be very dangerous.
  • The Revolution is indestructible.
  • We have to do everything necessary to fight against those who want to destroy the Revolution, which is in fact indestructible.
