No surprise, really. Just joking. You know this already, but here is confirmation.
Addressing his puppet National Assembly in Havana — which consists of hand-picked members of the Communist Party who ran unopposed in a fake “eclection”– King Raul calmed whatever fears they might have had of losing their privileged position by saying that absolutely nothing would change in his Kingdom as a result of his recent engagement with the current occupant of the White House in the United States.
Extending his musings to the realm of philosophy and ethics, King Raul made it clear that there is an exact moral equivalency between his brutal repressive dictatorship and the democratic free market system currently in place in the United States.
So, there you have it. This is the real result of the smart diplomacy conducted by the current occupant of the White House.
Although he said there are still some hurdles to clear before the “blockade” is lifted, King Raul made no mention of the fact that if that if the hurdles are cleared he will be able to get credit on purchases from the United States and go on a buying spree such as the world has never seen, and a default on such loans of equally colossal proportions.
Good luck finding this piece of news in the mainstream news media of the United States.
So, happy Sunday. Merry Christmas. Everything is beautiful and good. Yes. In its own way, sort of. Maybe. Maybe not.
By the way, what’s that odor? Oh…..I see…. is that what absolute surrender to evil smells like? Or is that smell only linked to betrayals in which popes are involved?
From Spain’s El Mundo:
In his speech, Raúl Castro reiterated that Cuba will not renounce its socialist political system as a result of its agreement to restore diplomatic relations with the United States. He also said that he is ready to discuss all issues in a climate of “equality” and “reciprocity,” and that since he has never asked the United States to change its political system, he will insist on equal respect for his system.
Much more HERE, in that annoying regional dialect known as Castellano
If this pope ever wants my respect, he’d better have an incredible mea culpa ready, and I mean epic.
