  1. You don’t get it. Pre-Castro Cuba had gone way too far, and something had to be done to put it where it belonged. It was making much bigger and richer Latrine countries and even some European countries (notably Spain) look bad. Somebody had to restore it to its proper function as a third-world basket case that could still serve the needs and desires of its betters–you know, like Canadians.
