Wal-Mart Stops Selling Confederate Flag Merchandise (While Selling Mucho Che Guevara Merchandise)

This morning Wal-Mart announced they were yanking all items bearing the Confederate flag from their shelves.

“We never want to offend anyone with the products that we offer,” stressed Wal-Mart spokesman Brian Nick. “We have taken steps to remove all items promoting the confederate flag from our assortment — whether in our stores or on our web site.”

Wal-Mart’s decision, like Governor Nikki Haley’s to remove the Confederate flag from her State’s capitol, was obviously provoked by the recent Charleston “hate-crime.”

Over at Gateway Pundit Kristinn Taylor points out that Wal-Mart sells seventeen different posters and prints glorifying Che Guevara. So in case any Wal-Mart officials are perusing The Blaze today here’s a few items to consider regarding the selling or promotion of “hate” or “offensive” merchandise:

Che Guevara’s hate-obsession was actually the U.S. He murdered Cubans because of their supposed affiliation with the U.S. (“U.S.–Backed” Batista, the CIA, etc.) So as a public service to Wal-Mart shoppers of other than Cuban-American heritage, here’s a more ravings from the racist, Stalinist mass-murderer who Wal-Mart promotes to the tune of 17 different promotional products:

*“The U.S. is the great enemy of mankind!”

*“The U.S. is ‘a carnivorous animal feeding on the helpless!”

*“Against those hyenas there is no option but extermination!”

*“We will bring the war to the imperialist enemies’ (Americans) very home, to his places of work and recreation. The imperialist enemy (Americans) must feel like a hunted animal wherever he moves. Thus we’ll destroy him!

*“We must keep our hatred (against the U.S.) alive and fan it to paroxysm!”

*“The U.S. is the perpetrator of exploitation and oppression against all the peoples of the world!”

*”If the nuclear missiles had remained (in Cuba) we would have fired them against the heart of the U.S. including New York City. The victory of socialism is well worth millions of atomic victims.”

Alas, Wal-Mart officials, a corrective to all this “ignorance” does exist—and on your very shelves.

Our friends at The Blaze help disseminate a few items not well-understood outside of a few small ethnic enclaves in South Florida.

  1. Apparently, some people are worth more than others: the displeasure of afro-americans over the confederate flag is infinitely more important than that of “those people,” aka “the chihuahuas” or “right winged” “batistianos” from the “Banana Republic” of Miami over the images of che. Who cares about them? Not even Archbishop of their city, Wenski gives a hoot. Why should anybody else, especially when there are so many token Cubans out there willing switch sides and write opinion pieces for the NYT?

  2. If everyone reading this were to write Walmart and tell them you will not shop at Walmarts until they get rid of all merchandise about this evil man, and replace it with selling Humberto’s book, The Longest Romance, perhaps it could make an impression.
Can you give us a name and address where everyone could write, Humberto?

  3. “We never want to offend anyone with the products that we offer.” Translation: We never want to offend anyone with a politically incorrect product. Che paraphernalia, obviously, would not fall in that category.

  4. Thanks Honey. But Wal-MArt already sells my books. Please go to end of article where i write: “Alas, Wal-Mart officials, a corrective to all this “ignorance” does exist—and on your very shelves.”
