FDR and Churchill certainly matched this frequency and timeline for handshakes…but as far as other U.S. Presidents with foreign “leaders”….?
But “close U.S. ally” Benjamin Netanyahu hasn’t come close to it with this U.S. President. In fact on “Bibi’s” visit to the Capitol Hill in Feb. 2015 Obama pointedly snubbed him.
Now when it came to the the terror-sponsor who craved to nuke his nation, Obama somehow found a way to buttonhole and shake hands with him everyplace from Johannesburg South Africa, to Panama City, Panama, to New York City (as seen in sequence above.) Another flurry of handshakes (abrazos too?) in Havana next month.
“My dream is to drop three atomic bombs on New York City,” (Raul Castro, Nov. 1960)
“Le RRRONCA!!!”
Humberto Fontova has performed a great service for the cause of decency and human freedom. Every American should read this book. (David Horowitz on Fidel; Hollywood’s Favorite Tyrant)
Does anybody believe Obama and the Mrs. would have looked so genuinely and unreservedly delighted in the same exact photo with, say, Winston Churchill, Margaret Thatcher or Golda Meir? No? You’re damn right they wouldn’t have, not even close. But I’m not bitter or anything, just sayin’.
Humberto, I was curious who your choice for the GOP nomination was? I haven’t seen you comment on it. Thanks.
