Johnny Depp channels his hero Che Guevara–“jokes” about assassinating Trump

“At England’s Glastonbury Festival on Tuesday, Johnny Depp said to the crowd, “Can we bring Trump in? … No, no, no. You misunderstand completely. I think he needs help … When was the last time an actor assassinated a president? I want to clarify: I’m not an actor. I lie for a living however it’s been a while. Maybe it’s about time.””

From Johnny Depp’s idol:

“Certainly we execute! And we will CONTINUE executing as long as it is necessary! This is a war to the DEATH against the revolution’s enemies!”

“We reject any peaceful approach….To establish Socialism rivers of blood must flow. The victory of socialism is well worth millions of atomic victims!”

“My nostrils dilate while savoring the acrid odor of gunpowder and blood. With the deaths of my enemies I prepare my being for the sacred fight and join the triumphant proletariat with a bestial howl!”

“A revolutionary must become a cold killing machine motivated by pure hate! We execute from revolutionary conviction!”

(Every quote above meticulously documented here.)

  1. Depp, like so many of his kind, has his head so far up his ass that it’s almost sad. Trouble is, as long as he’s taken at all seriously, as opposed to as a glorified clown, he’ll feel “validated” and keep shoveling out the BS.

  2. Remember, fashionably “edgy” politics is often the last refuge of the showbiz career running out of gas–and yes, that can work. Ask Harry Belafonte, for one.

  3. One can only dream of a day when celebrity culture dies out entirely, when neither the left nor the right nor anyone else for that matter, gives a rat’s ass what any “famous” person has to say on any topic other than perhaps their personal experiences with the absurdities of fame.

From what I can tell, not gonna happen in my lifetime.
