Yesterday was the 107th Sunday of the #TodosMarchamos (we all march) campaign where the opposition group the Ladies in White and other human rights activists come together in a peaceful protest march calling for the release of political prisoners. Unfortunately, like the 106 previous Sundays, the peaceful dissidents were met with violent repression. By the end of the day, around 50 Ladies in White had been violently arrested by State Security thugs of the apartheid Castro dictatorship.
Diario de Cuba has the report (my translation):
Around 50 Ladies in White arrested in Cuba
Around 50 Ladies in White throughout the country attempting to attend church services and participate in the #TodosMarchamos campaign for the release of political prisoners were arrested this Sunday by regime agents.
According to Lady in White Leticia Ramos Herreria, this Sunday was different in Matanzas because “it is not typical for the chief oppressor for State Security in Matanzas to visit the homes of the Ladies in White during the arrests as he did today.”
In the early afternoon, 14 women in Matanzas were able to attend church services while another 15 had been arrested to prevent them from reaching the church.
Former political prisoner Angel Moya, the husband of Ladies in White leader Berta Soler, told Diario de Cuba that “at this moment 40 Ladies have been reported arrested in Havana, Guantanamo, Palma Soriano, and Bayamo during the 107th Sunday of repression.”
Furthermore, Moya denounced that since Thursday morning, “State Security along with the National Police and members of the Rapid Response Brigades began to deploy an operation of repression surrounding the headquarters of the Ladies in White in Lawton. Their objective being to arrest the Ladies in White and human rights activists from other organizations as they left the headquarters.”

And for the 107th time, nobody gives a shit. Just ask the European Union, for starters.
