Some are saying Cuban American mayoral candidate Nicole Malliotakis is the best hope the GOP has to win the New York City mayoral election. I would go further and say that Nicole is the best hope the residents of New York City have to rid themselves of socialist Bill de Blasio, his corruption scandals, and his failed policies.
Nicole Malliotakis may be the GOP’s best hope to unseat de Blasio
The first Republican woman to run for mayor, Nicole Malliotakis is now the GOP front-runner. She has represented the 64th Assembly District, which includes Staten Island and part of Bay Ridge, Brooklyn, since 2013. Before joining the Legislature, she was a public affairs manager for Con Edison. On June 28 she took part in Crain’s Republican mayoral debate against Paul Massey, who withdrew from the race later that day. Alas, it may not make much difference how good a candidate she may be (not that it takes much to be a better one than Mayor Wilhelm), because this is NYC. It would definitely make zero difference in California.
