  1. Yes, to say he was brainsoiled is certainly apt. I recently ran across some photos of him with his father (the biological one, not the one he considers god-like), and I was struck by the vulgarity of his demeanor–my reaction was parece un chusmita. The father, by the way, was wearing fancy sports apparel, the kind I’d pass on for being too fussy and overpriced (one can only imagine what the grandmothers wear). Well, it’s all perfectly fitting. Vulgarity and “revolutionary” are practically synonymous, and Lord knows they’ve always gone hand in hand in Cuba.
