Funny how most of the socialist and communist icons in this world who preach income equality and rail against the rich are themselves wealthy beyond imagination. Lula da Silva, the “champion of the worker,” has just had his assets and properties seized by the court in restitution for the millions he received in graft payments as a corrupt politician.
The story here is not only that Lula’s assets were seized, but that this self-proclaimed socialist is worth millions of dollars and lived a lascivious lifestyle bought and paid for by his corruption and exploitation of the working class.
The irony would be breathtaking if it were not so common among the socialist elite.
