Yesterday was the 153rd Sunday of the #TodosMarchamos (we all march) campaign in Cuba calling for the release of political prisoners and like all Sundays before, it was met with brutal repression. As of this morning, 21 Ladies in White were violently arrested by Castro State Security: 2 in Havana, 17 in Matanzas, and 2 more in Santiago de Cuba.
Reports and photos coming from the island show the violent arrests of the women as they attempted to march peacefully together to church services. Some women were able to evade Cuban political police and make it church on Sunday.

This weekly scenario has been “normalized” to a non-event. Those who could penalize Castro, Inc. for it won’t. It’s probably time to try a different approach.
