” It is an honor to address you all (The Bay of Pigs Veterans Assoc.) today. I am delighted to be here in Miami among such brave and distinguished company. The veterans of Brigade 2506 remind us all of the true cost of freedom and liberty, the true nature of communism and socialism, and the true face of patriotism, honor,and courage.
Each one of you, our Brigade veterans and exile community members, have borne witness to the horrors of socialism and communism. Nearly six decades ago, many of you willingly put your lives on the line to fight these poisonous creeds in Cuba in order to free the Cuban people from Castro’s oppressive reign. Today, we honor the 58th Anniversary of your extraordinary valor and sacrifice.
The United States will never forget the sacrifices you and your brothers in arms made on those hallowed beaches (Bay of Pigs) nearly six decades ago. We will honor your courage,and the memory of all those lost ,through our actions today—by boldly confronting the evils of socialism and communism in this Hemisphere.

“I’m grateful that President (communist and Castro-stooge) Daniel Ortega did not blame me for things (the Bay of Pigs freedom-fight) that happened when I was three months old...We are not dug into policies that were formulated before I was born.” (An abject President Obama groveling to Communist/drug-trafficking/ terror-sponsors Daniel Ortega, Hugo Chavez and Raul Castro at the Summit of the Americas in 2009 during his famous “apology tour.”)
“The Bay of Pigs took place the year that I was born. I know the history, but I refuse to be trapped by it…I have come here to bury the last remnant of the Cold War in the Americas.” (An abject President Obama again groveling and apologizing to Stalinist mass-murderer Raul Castro, this time in April 2016 in Havana, after releasing Castro’s convicted spies and meekly succumbing to Castro’s every demand.)
Don’t confuse what Obama said with true abject groveling and apologizing. He did it because he wanted to and enjoyed it, not because he was forced or coerced to do it. There’s a BIG difference.
Obama knew his Cuba conduct would play just fine with his target audience, including Cubanoids, and he most certainly didn’t give a shit about “those people” (actually, pissing them off was a bonus).
