Trump tightens stranglehold on Castro’s financial windpipe–ends Obama era’s Cuba Cruises and “People-to-People” travel loophole (“pachanga”)

“Trump administration bans cruises to Cuba in clampdown on U.S. travel-– The Trump administration on Tuesday imposed heavy new restrictions on travel to Cuba by U.S. citizens, including a ban on cruises, in a bid to further pressure the Communist island …

U.S. travel to Cuba had boomed in recent years after Obama loosened restrictions, allowing the re-establishment of regular commercial flights and cruise services. The United States became the second-largest source of travelers to the island after Canada, with a majority arriving on cruise ships.

“The Administration has advanced the President’s Cuba policy by ending ‘veiled tourism’ to Cuba and imposing restrictions on vessels…“We will continue to take actions to restrict the Cuban regime’s access to U.S. dollars.” tweeted National Security Advisor John Bolton.

For the benefit of our many and valued amigos who live outside the towering walls and deep moat surrounding the Cuban-American-Informational-Ghetto and the almost hermetic Miami-Spanish-Language-Radio-and-TV-News-Bubble:

Though U.S. tourism to Cuba remained technically illegal according to U.S. law, Obama opened up so many loopholes that Americans became 2nd only to Canadians as vacationers in Cuba (i.e. as financial partners with the Stalinist, terror-sponsoring regime’s military and secret-police.)

Because you see, amigos: the terror-sponsoring, drug-running Cuban regime’s military and secret police majority owns everything linked to Cuba’s tourism industry. (Thorough documentation for these items provided here.)

NOW we’re FINALLY getting somewhere!”

And speaking of “STRANGLEHOLDS!”

  1. Prepare for major squealing and screeching from the usual suspects, including Cubanoid ones.
