In fact, the hilarious ironies of New York Mayor and U.S. Presidential candidate DeBlasio’s comments to striking workers at Miami Int. Airport almost defy Monty Python-ization or Saturday Night Live-azation. Consider:
As often stressed in my writings and speeches on Che Guevara: Che’s main targets of hatred and scorn WERE THE U.S. AND AMERICANS!–not Cubans.
Sure, the people he tortured and murdered were overwhelmingly Cubans–but that was only because he couldn’t get his hands on any Americans. In fact, on the few occasions when the Castroites were able to get their hands of some of those hated Americans (as POW’s in Viet-Nam, for instance), the results were horrific.
Che Guevara regarded his Cuban torture and murder victims as proxies for the hated “Yankee imperialists,” (as CIA agents, pawns of United Fruit, etc.)
By the way, this isn’t the first time Bill De Blasio publicly and gleefully quoted Che Guevara. He quoted him back in 2013 during his New York mayoral race.
“By no means can Cuban workers go on strike! Cuban workers must adjust to life in a collectivist-socialist order!” (Cuba’s Minister of Industries Che Guevara, June 26, 1961.)
“The U.S. is the great enemy of mankind! Against those hyenas there is no option but extermination….If the missiles had remained in Cuba we would have fired them against the heart of the U.S. including New York City!” (Che Guevara.)
Got it, amigos? I know you do. But just for fun, let’s review it for full effect:
“In brief: he Democrat mayor of New York City, while campaigning for President of the United States in front of striking workers, triumphantly quoted a mass-murdering terrorist who craved to nuke the candidate’s hometown, his parents and his constituents— as first step in the process of exterminating the “hyenas” who populate the nation the candidate craves to lead as President. The mass-murdering terrorist who the candidate loudly and gleefully quoted in front of unionized workers also outlawed labor unions and strikes on penalty of torture chamber and firing squad.“
And yet some say the U.S. electorate has been “dumbed-down?”…HAH! Our friends at Townhall help disseminate some items not well understood outside the tiny Cuban-American informational ghetto.
