Quote of the Day: Paquito D’Rivera regrets Cubans weren’t able to hang Fidel by his balls from a lamp post

Few Cuban Americans are more outspoken than Grammy award winning jazz musician Paquito D’Rivera. We love Paquito not just for his music, but for telling it like it is.

Via Todo El Mundo Habla (my translation):

“When Fidel died I felt happiness and sadness at the same time because we weren’t able to hang him by his balls from some lamp post in Havana. […] It was a mix of emotions… I drank two bottles of Dom Perignon champagne a friend had given me.”

  1. What I regret is that Batista didn’t kill the bastard in 1953, before he had the chance to ruin Cuba and screw its people.
