On October 22nd, 1962, President John F. Kennedy went on television and informed the nation the Russians had installed nuclear missiles in Cuba and announced a naval blockade of the island nation.
57 years later the U.S. has had nine other presidents and the Soviet Union dissolved. But in communist Cuba, the same Castro family dictatorship that ruled in 1962 and was willing to incinerate U.S. cities and kill millions of Americans continues to rule today.
