Thanks to an alert Sara Gonzalez of The Blaze it has come to light that a picture of Mariah Cuomo (Andew Cuomo’s daughter) with her grandmother Ethel Kennedy includes, in the background, the famous Alberto Korda (later outed as a KGB agent) propaganda pic of Che Guevara.
“The U.S. is the great enemy of mankind! Against those hyenas there is no option but extermination….If the missiles had remained in Cuba we would have fired them against the heart of the U.S. INCLUDING NEW YORK CITY!” (Che Guevara, Nov. 23, 1962.)
No one has yet determined whether the pic was taken at Mariah’s house or at her grandma Ethel Kenndy’s. But the home’s decor seems to hint at grandma Ethel’s, who is Robert F. Kennedy’s widow, hence JFK’s sister-in-law. This makes the Che Guevara family presence all the more “fascinating,” considering that these Kennedys were America’s twin “commanders-in-chief” during the Cuban Missile Crisis.
For the equivalent in interior decorating “taste,” imagine FDR’s descendant’s lovingly decorating their homes with pics of Hideki Tojo or Churchill’s descendant’s decorating theirs with pics of Luftwaffe chief Herman Goering.
Another item hinting at Che as grandma Ethel’s home decoration is this tribute to her from son RFK Jr.on her 93rd birthday: “…she combined skepticism towards orthodoxy, irreverence towards authority, she admired physical and moral courage and surrounded herself with war heroes, and dissidents both political and clerical…she tried to imbue us with a love for justice and an indignation when our country falls short of its ideals.”
Everyone familiar with Liberal-speak will immediately recognize that–given the historical record– the above personality traits are a sure bet that the affected liberal will worship a cowardly, sadistic, racist, war-mongering, mass-murdering imbecile, whose lifelong craving was to incinerate them.
Is it me, or has there been some (or a lot of), uh, less-than-successful plastic surgery? Sheesh.
One only has to see the interaction between Chris and Andrew to realize the Cuomos are utter idiots.
Then again, they are what the Democrat party and the mainstream media, but I repeat myself, needs.
Mario and Fredo are essentially stereotypes, but they’re real, not malicious distortions of reality.
“Che” was a (literally) filthy ape who should have been laughed off as a bad Latrine joke. Again, don’t ever call me “Latin,” though heaven knows too many Cubans turned out to fit that bill.
The whole Che cult chiefly serves to illustrate human perversity, stupidity and shallowness. In that respect, at least, the asthmatic Argentine asshole, who happened to be a bloodthirsty and delusional psychopath, was of some use–even if the benefit is hardly justified by the cost.
