Australians partner with Castro, Inc. for open-pit gold and silver mine in Cuba

Open pit mine

From our Colossal Environmental Disasters Bureau, with assistance from our Ali Baba Desk

An Australian mining company has announced plans to dig for gold in Castrogonia.

As usual, the Aussies are financing the entire venture in a 49/51 partnership with Castro, Inc., which means that all that the Castronoid thieves have to do is sit back and skim slightly over half of the profits wihle the foreigners take all of the risk.

Of course, as always, Castro, Inc. will provide the Aussies with slaves who will contribute 92 percent of their pay to Castro, Inc.’s coffers.

And, last but not least, this great big open pit scar on the Cuban landscape is being dug in La Demajagua, on land stolen from its owners, in the vicinity of the location where Cuba’s war of independence from Spain was launched in 1868.

So, how’s that for a neocolonialist boomerang? Bring back the foreigners and give ’em some slaves.

Beautiful deal, ain’t it, mate?

From The Market Herald

PanTerra Gold (PGI) has been granted approval by the Cuban government for its proposed joint venture to develop La Demanjagua.

The joint venture will be formed between PanTerra Gold Investments (PTGI) and Geo Minera SA (GMSA) and registered under the name Minera La Victoria (MLV).

PTGI will eventually hold a 49 per cent interest, while a subsidiary of GMSA will hold a majority 51 per cent stake in the Cuban-registered company.

PanTerra expects the Joint Venture Agreement and incorporation of MLV will be completed by the end of June 2020.

Based on historical metallurgical tests, Panterrra said it expects an open-pit mine at La Demanjugua could produce approximately 60,000 tonnes per annum of concentrate grading around 47 grams per tonne of gold and 380 grams per tonne of silver.

  1. Well, they don’t have to justify this to the usual suspects, and they don’t give a damn about “those people.”

  2. The real owners or their kin..if Americans.. should by now hired a legal team to sue the crap out of Australians
