Actually Che’s famous plea/whimper (Don’t Shoot! I’m Che! I’m worth more to you live than dead!”) was on the day of his capture, Oct 8th, 1967.
“Now you don’t talk so loud!–now you don’t seem so proud,” (say the Bolivian soldiers who defeated, captured and killed him.)
Fifty-seven years ago today, Ernesto “Che” Guevara got a major dose of his own medicine. Without trial he was declared a murderer, stood against a wall and shot. “Humberto’s book is a very valuable book-a book badly needed around the world.” (Former Chairwoman of the House Committee on Foreign Relations Ileana Ros-Lehtinen R. Fl)
“I read Fontova’s book on Che Guevara in two sittings– I could not put it down.” (Radio and Fox News superstar Mark “The Great One” Levin.)
