Video of the Day: New Spanish Trump campaign ad is as Hispanic as you can get

There’s a reason Donald Trump is enjoying increased support among Hispanic Americans and especially Cuban Americans: the campaign is not pandering to them with Despacito. Neither has the GOP adopted the condescending, tone of implying Hispanic Americans are victims who need the government to help them or otherwise they won’t survive.

Instead, Trump and his campaign are appealing to what many Hispanic Americans find the most important. Freedom, family, prosperity, and the economy. This is about as Hispanic as you can get.

There’s a lesson for Democrats here, but it is one they will never learn. They need victims because those who don’t consider themselves victims have no use for their failed policies.

  1. Meanwhile, the granddaughter of notable Cuban exile “representative” and anti-Trumper Carlos Alberto Montaner (and not coincidentally daughter of Jorge Ramos), who worked for both Obama and Hillary Clinton, has a book out titled “Latinx,” and I’m pretty sure she has no problem with that concept and identifies that way. Of course, she’s no more than half Cuban, but you get the idea. Vamos bien.
