This is how the communist revolution in Cuba treats women. This is what “equality” and “social justice” look like in socialist Cuba when you dare to protest the regime. This is socialism in action.
In Habana, Cuba, Roseanne Carmona Gener, a social communications student defined as a feminist was violently/arbitrarily arrested in front of the Capitolio Nacional in Habana, Cuba. She was staging a protest in solidarity with the San Isidro Movement. On Nov 21, Cuban artist and pro democracy leader Luis Manuel Otero Alcántara urged Cubans to take to the streets to stand up for their rights. Across Cuba, individuals and groups have responded to this call to peaceful protest for a free, inclusive and democratic nation.
