Video of the Day: Young Cuban American raps for freedom and liberty in Cuba

Via Martí Noticias (my translation):

Daniela Jordan, a young Cuban living in the U.S., dedicated a rap song for liberty in Cuba and against the regime that oppresses the island.

On Sunday her father posted a short home video on social media where Daniela, who is 18, raps against the dictatorship’s “cowardly old men in olive green.”

Regarding Cuba, she raps “the only thing I know is they don’t allow you to have rights/to protest/that’s not right,” and that they force people to “fight in the streets for food,” sings Jordan.

The young woman then asks: “When are we going to get out of this sadness and poverty?”
