13 Cubans piled into a flimsy homemade boat and amazingly made it across the Florida Straits and landed in the Florida Keys on Thursday.
Cuban migrants who were on board a homemade wooden vessel made landfall in the Florida Keys Thursday morning.
According to U.S. Border Patrol Chief Patrol Agent Thomas G. Martin, Border Patrol agents, along with officers from the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office, responded to a maritime smuggling event near Big Pine Key.
Upon arrival, they discovered 13 Cuban migrants who made landfall on a homemade wooden vessel.
Despite all the promises of socialism, Cubans continue to prefer throwing themselves into the shark-infested sea instead of spending one more day under the jackboot of communist tyranny.
