While Cubans are suffering through chronic blackouts across the island, the Castro dictatorship’s sock puppet president Miguel Diaz-Canel tells them to find the charm of the smothering and sweltering heat of summer on a tropical island.
President Miguel Diaz-Canel called on Cubans to find the charms of heat at a moment when the people are suffering through long blackouts that prevent them from protecting themselves from the high temperatures of summer.
In a message on his Twitter account, Diaz-Canel reiterated the “Summer is for everyone” slogan used by the Union of Young Communists in their summer vacation campaign this year.
“Let’s look for and find the charms of these times of intense heat. ‘Summer is for everyone,’ it’s culture, it’s sports, healthy recreation, family, friends, and the ‘indescribable party’ that is living in Cuba,” he said.
The president shared photos that show idyllic images of life on the island with children playing out in the open and visiting recreational sites.
Of course, none of the communist party elite are being affected by the blackouts and neither the tourists enjoying their apartheid vacation on the island. The ones suffering the brunt of the constant blackouts caused by decades of corruption, mismanagement, and neglect of the electrical grid in Cuba are the Cuban people.
As ridiculous and callous this may sound to some, it’s the typical cruel and heartless absurdity the communist Castro dictatorship has subjected the Cuban people to for more than six decades.
