Mother of Cuban toddler murdered in Bahia Honda Massacre taken into custody by State Security

Diana Meizoso, the mother of the 2-year-old murdered by the Cuban Coast Guard in the Bahia Honda Massacre, has been taken into custody and is being held at the notorious Villa Marista State Security facility. Mother of 2-year-old girl murdered in Bahia Honda transferred to Villa Marista

Diana Meizoso, the mother of Elizabeth, the 2-year-old girl murdered by the Cuban Coast Guard in Bahia Honda last month, was taken on Thursday to Villa Marista, a State Security facility in Havana.

ADN Cuba was able to confirm with sources close to the case that two State Security agents showed up at the young woman’s home and took her away in a car to Villa Marista.

Meizoso was forced to go alone because regime authorities prohibited any family members from accompanying her, despite her delicate state after the loss of her child just two weeks ago.

Supposedly, Meizoso would be sent back home that same day, but there are no guarantees.

On Wednesday, ADN Cuba reported that several survivors of the Bahia Honda massacre were taken under threats to Villa Marista to appear in videos where they are being forced to give false testimony regarding what had happened, said the victim’s family members to ADN Cuba.
