Cuban dictatorship purchases record amount of chicken from U.S. in November

Embargo? What embargo? The communist Castro dictatorship bought a record $32 million worth of chicken from the U.S. in November.

Via Periodico Cubano (my translation):

The Cuban regime spent a record $32 million on the purchase of chicken from the US. during the month of the November. The figure comes from a recently released report from the U.S. Department of Agriculture that provides export information two months in arrears.

The $32.06 million shows a 56% increase in export value and a 70% increase in the tons purchased compared to October.

The communist government took advantage of the drop in the per kilo chicken price during the penultimate month of 2022, buying at $1.18 per kilo. In October, the price was $1.29 per kilo.

Once again, we see the only “blockade” causing the Cuban people to suffer and go hungry is the internal blockade put up by the communist Castro dictatorship. But don’t expect any of the regime’s supporters or defenders to admit this.

  1. Yea, but Cuba was forced to pay for the chicken!! Yes, that is right. Pay for it with cash!. What an outrage!! Communist and all those on the left are superior beings that should not have to pay for anything. All the world should feel honored to send Cuban their chicken for free. What is wrong with you rich, evil capitalist? Don’t you know the rules?
