  1. This is, of course, very appropriate for a third world shithole, as all the usual suspects understand, meaning they find it perfectly normal. On the other hand, pre-Castro Cuba (especially Havana), is considered aberrant and unnatural, so its destruction is deemed justifiable. Thus, from their perspective, Cuba is now more or less as it should be, and the fact “those people” disagree is seen as both irrelevant and inconsequential.

  2. Oh the ambiance, grace, beauty and romance of Havana. It is no wonder that starting in the 50’s tourists began flocking to Cuba from all corners of the globe. And looking at the crowds at Cuban resorts today, they are still coming.
