Shocking! Cuban billboard tries very hard to justify apartheid tourism

“All the income collected here goes to the people”

From our Bureau of Extreme Hypocrisy and Painfully Transparent and Offensive Propaganda

One of the worst things about Castro, Inc.’s relentless propaganda campaigns, its slogans, its billboards, its murals, and all the rest of it, is that it assumes that the Cuban people are very, very, very stupid.

Take the billboard above, for instance, which has been installed near some apartheid tourist resort. Can the propaganda geniuses of Castro, Inc. get any more condescending or offensive? Can any Cuban believe in its message?

“Hey, look, this beautiful beach is off limits for you. No Cubans allowed, except as servants. This beach and all others like it are for superior human beings from abroad only. But whatever we earn from those superior beings is spent on you, the people.”

Yeah, sure, like the riot gear to quell protests, purchased from Spain. Or the lifestyles of the oligarchs.

“Do you want to go to this pretty beach? Too bad. Oh, but you can enjoy it vicariously. Just watch the video below and see how those superior beings enjoy their “dream holiday.” Aaaah. . . be grateful, very grateful. Big Brother has your best interests at heart, always.” (Siempre, si, comemierdas. . .ja! )
