Ten women held as political prisoners for protesting during the July 11, 2021 uprising in communist Cuba have signed a letter in their own blood demanding their release. Now they face disciplinary action.

The female political prisoners who signed a letter with their own blood demanding that dictator Miguel Diaz-Canel comply with the request from Pope Francis that all the protesters from July 11, 2021 be released were taken before a disciplinary court on Thursday at the Guatao women’s prison in Havana.
