Miguel Diaz-Canel, the Castro dictatorship’s sock puppet president, held a meeting with the Cuban Conference of Catholic Bishops where they discussed issues of “common interest,” as if the Catholic Church should have anything in common with an atheistic and murderous communist dictatorship that brutally oppresses the Cuban people.

President Miguel Diaz-Canel met with representatives of the Cuban Conference of Catholic Bishops on Wednesday as part of his meetings with different sectors after the ratification of his presidency last week.
The Twitter account for the Cuban presidency posted an image of the meeting, only mentioning that it took place at the Palace of the Revolution in Havana.
A report by state-run newspaper Granma stated that the meeting between both parties addressed topics “related to the work of the Catholic Church, the current socioeconomic situation of the country, the strengthening of values in society, and other issues of common interest.”
“The meeting took place in a climate of mutual respect, in correspondence to the Revolution’s policies towards religion and believers and the full religious liberty enshrined in the Constitution of the Republic of Cuba,” said the state-run newspaper.
Some nations living under dictatorships have a Catholic Church that stands up for the rights of the people and doesn’t feed its flock to the wolves to ensure its own survival. Communist Cuba is not one of them.
