  1. As I keep telling you people, Cuba should never have been significantly better than it is now. The fact it was far, FAR better was an aberration which the “revolution” corrected, and then some. Move along.

    • The US government decided long ago that it had to either own Cuba out right or keep it so poor and dysfunctional that it would not present a threat to US interests. In a way Cuban communism has served US interests quite well.
