Cuba appears at the top of the Hanke Annual Misery Index 2022 (HAMI).
This list is published annually, based on the economic well-being of nations and their rates of inflation, unemployment and other variables.
It is based on the methodology of Steve Hanke, founder and co-director of the Institute for Applied Economics, Global Health, and the Study of Business at Johns Hopkins University.
It comes as no surprise to many that the Failed State, a bastion of “creative resistance” and “continuity”, ranks in the top ten.
For Latin America, Cuba is located in 9th place, only surpassed by Venezuela and Argentina, in positions 2 and 6, respectively.
The oil nation, a satellite of Havana and subject to the dictatorship of Nicolás Maduro, has an index of 330.8 due to inflation, warns the HAMI graph.

The usual suspects are not bothered by this, as it only really affects ordinary Cubans, who are lowly savages undeserving of better lives. What matters is that superior alien beings can still get their jollies from indulging in their “revolutionary” socialist fantasies and their beloved “progressive” Marxist theories.
