Yericel Hernández González became the thirty-first Cuban woman to be murdered this year. She was killed last Friday in the province of Guantánamo. The alleged attacker was her husband, and father of her two daughters.
This crime followed on the heels of another femicide, that of Daniela Thalía Tasse Arias, a 22 year-old teacher, who was killed on Thursday in Bayamo, at her school, as horrified students and co-workers watched.
And the day before, the murder of a 60-year old woman named Tomasa was reported in Luyanó. Details on these femicides HERE, at Marti Noticias

Through social networks, the unjust death of the Cuban nurse José Cristóbal Fernández, who was murdered in his own home, was denounced.
This information was offered by Josué Senen Guerra from the province of Havana, who asked himself “how long is this going to happen that every day one must be more afraid on the street? Even in our homes”.
“Last night (Saturday), some people entered his house and took the life of a great friend, brother, partner, a great human being full of values and attitudes, a great boss and partner,” the text says. of the message published by the journalist Alberto Arego.
