I don’t understand the big deal about Messi moving to Miami. Yes, I understand he is big outside the USA, and that South Americans who live in the US like him, but Americans don’t watch soccer. They are into American football and baseball. For most Americans is a nonentity which is why you don’t see him doing commercials in the US. BTW, most Cubans are, also, into baseball and don’t give a flying F about him.
Some people obviously want and expect to make money off him, hence the promotion.
