Brazil’s Lula calls for end of U.S. sanctions against Cuban dictatorship, renews ties to Castro dictatorship

As was expected after his election, Brazil’s socialist president and convict Lula da Silva is renewing ties with the Castro dictatorship and going to bat for the murderous communist regime. During his visit to Cuba for the G-77 summit, Lula spoke out about the “illegal” U.S. embargo against his fellow corrupt socialist criminals, the Castro family dictatorship.

Via Deutsche Welle:

Brazil’s President, Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, met with his Cuban counterpart President Miguel Diaz-Canel on Saturday, reinvigorating ties between the two nations. This visit by a Brazilian president to the Caribbean nation is the first in nine years.

President Lula traveled to Havana to participate in the summit of the Group of 77 or G77 emerging economies plus China. This international group, founded in the 1960s, convened in Cuba just days ahead of the UN General Assembly in New York.

During his address at the summit, Lula expressed his concern over the US-led embargo on Cuba, emphasizing that the island nation is a “victim” of an unjust economic blockade. “We reject the inclusion of Cuba on the list of state sponsors of terrorism,” he added.

As previously mentioned, this is no surprise. Lula has always been a corrupt socialist (the only kind of socialist), which makes him a darling of the American left.

  1. Again, Lula couldn’t look more like a corrupt SOB if he tried, but the people of Brazil have spoken. Solavaya.

I repeat the obvious: we are not of such people. We are Cubans, NOT “Latins.” Lord, the contempt.

  2. Asombra,

I agree. Latrines have for the most part been enablers of the regime and, therefore, our enemies. Let’s not forget how especially Mexico [but, also, countries like Argentina] have traditionally championed Cuba [read this as the dictatorship]. And Latrinos in the USA have used their power [Hispanic Congressional Caucus] to fight us on Cuba issues. It irks me how they forcibly team us even though I don’t want to be teamed with them. They want us to go counter to our concerns and support the DNC and politicians who are our enemies, or they attempt to shame us by calling us Malinches and coconuts and traitors as if we’re one singular mass of people with no differences.

And yes, I know that Spaniards, also, in the same ilk. Spain has been a thorn on our side as bad as Mexico, but we are of Spanish ancestry whether we like it or not and Latrinos in the US want us to deny our heritage. We are not indigenous, and I feel no affination for them.

By the way, what do you think of clearly Spanish descendant Cubans like Senator Bob Menendez and Congresswoman Maria Elvira Salazar who are now claiming to be brown and/or nonwhite. The sickness has permeated to the heart of the Cuban community.

    • A white Hispanic who plays the “brown” card is no better than Elizabeth Warren playing the native American card. We’re talking opportunistic fraud at best, and I hold such people in contempt.

Menendez is someone I can chew but not swallow, which has always been the case, and Salazar has always struck me as un huevo que quiere sal. In other words, we’re not talking trigo limpio.
