Cuba’s socialist revolution may not be able to increase wages, food production, or the standard of living, but it has done a stellar job of increasing street beggars. Along with misery and oppression, that’s all socialism can ever produce.

The number of beggars has noticeably increased on the streets of Cuba’s main cities, while the regime avoids responsibility and refers to them with the euphemism “roamers.”
