From our Bureau of Praiseworthy Apartheid with some assistance from our Bureau of Lost Souls and our Bureau of Human Zoos and Noble Savages and our Bureau of Fake Reviews Written by Ministries of Truth in Latrine American Totalitarian Hellholes
It took four bureaus to bring you this story, but none of them has much to say. Basically, their names say it all: TripAdvisor is obviously run by morally bankrupt dolts who love to support apartheid and obviously view Cubans as subhuman savages whose sole purpose on earth is to serve the needs of superior beings from other countries.
OR . . .
Since they base their rankings on comments from tourists, it is highly, highly, highly likely that it never occurred to them that the overwhelmingly positive reviews were submitted by Cuban propagandists at Castro, Inc.’s Ministry of Truth and Ministry of Tourism . . .
Tremendos comemierdas . . . Let them tell you about the reasons for their ranking:
We award Travelers’ Choice Best of the Best to destinations whose hotels, restaurants and things to do received a high volume of above-and-beyond reviews and opinions from our community over a 12-month period. Fewer than 1% of Tripadvisor’s 8 million listings are awarded Best of the Best, signifying the highest level of excellence in travel.
U.S. citizens still need to jump through a few hoops to visit Cuba, but as visitors from around the world know, this island offers some amazing opportunities for cultural exchange. Havana is a mix of old-world architecture and of-the-moment culture. Head out of the capital city to the small town of Trinidad to see more Spanish colonial architecture. It’s a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a fantastic home base for a visit to the Valley of the Sugar Mills, a pocket of land that formerly served as the center of Cuba’s sugar industry.
And here are some of the tourist comments they are sharing on their website, all of which focus on the overabundant food, drink, and amenities, as well as on the “charm” of the noble savages and their ancient cars:
GREAT place to eat!! They accept American cash, the food is generous and wonderful, and the price is incredible! The staff was super friendly and the ambiance was charming . . . We dined at Casa Mia. For $30 total, two of us had ropa vieja, a side dish, and an alcoholic beverage. We each left $20 on the table to cover the $30 bill and a $10 tip.
Great place to spend time with friends at the great resort. Employees were very pleasant and always willing to help when asked. Rooms very bright and clean. Swimming pools very spacious . . . The bars always in full stock and ready to serve every single guest.
A memorable experience! Jorge (guide), Dani & Miguel (drivers) we’re knowledgeable, kind and attentive. The highlight for us was the 30 min convertible ride through Havana. However even without that we would have had an amazing time without that.
My favorite hotel in Cuba best beach and most importantly the SPA! I highly recommend massage services …especially therapeutic massage.
The best resort in Varadero. Turkish chefs Mustafa Ince, Gokan and Ugur gave us Turkish culinary experience in Cuba. Rooms are amazing and spacious. Very clean resort. Pools are very clean and there are lots of cabanas and beds around the pools.
Whole wretched “Best of the Best” site available HERE
Sometimes, I wonder why we expect anything better from the outside world, which is obviously full of it.
As long as there is any public image of “Che” in Cuba, all Cubans will be disgraced because of it.
