From our Russification of Cuba Bureau with some assistance from our Bureau of Potentially Troublesome Proclamations That Will Most Probably Be Ignored By Senile Doddering Presidents Of The Most Powerful Nation on Earth

Czar Vlad the Invader’s chief envoy to other nations, Sergei Lavrov, has just showered Castro, Inc. with a great compliment, calling the geriatric lily-white communist military junta its greatest ally in the Western hemisphere. Pay attention, Jar-Jar Biden, pay attention. We know it’s hard for you, Jar-Jar, given your age-related disabilities, but, please make sure you listen carefully to this proclamation. Regarding relations between both countries, Lavrov described them as “positive”, in a scenario where the Cuban government has shown its full support for the Russian war against Ukraine, although the chancellor did not specifically refer to that issue.

During the press conference he noted that the two countries “agree on the need to establish a more just and democratic world order, which is based on the principle of sovereign equality of States, which appears in the UN Charter, but that has not been respected by Western representatives in practically any of the situations that have occurred on the world stage since the creation of the UN.”
