Brazil throws another economic lifeline to Cuba’s communist dictatorship

Brazil’s socialist president, Lula da Silva, has thrown another economic lifeline to his idols and mentors in Cuba, the corrupt, oppressive, and murderous Castro dictatorship. No less than 12 programs that will fund the Cuban regime and its machine of repression have been announced by da Silva, who himself is an ex-con who served prison time in Brazil for money laundering and corruption. This is socialism in action.

Lula government announces the signing of 12 economic projects to finance the Cuban dictatorship

The Minister of State for Agrarian Development and Family Farming of Brazil, Paulo Teixeira, announced in Havana the upcoming signing of 12 projects with which he will help finance the dictatorship of Cuba, thus marking a new chapter in the bilateral relations between both nations, following the rise to power of the socialist Lula da Silva.

Teixeira’s visit to Havana was received with enthusiasm and a warm welcome from Cuban dictator, Miguel Díaz-Canel. In the words of the Brazilian minister, these projects are a testament to the “intensity” of the relationship between Brazil and Cuba.

Although specific details of the projects have not yet been revealed, the visit by Brazilian experts to farmers in the province of Matanzas was mentioned, as well as experiences in agroecology and banana plantations.

Dictator Díaz-Canel expressed satisfaction with the high level of exchange and cooperation between Brazil and Cuba, emphasizing Lula’s willingness to strengthen these relations. Since his first presidential term in 2003, Lula has been a tireless advocate of the Castro dictatorship, which has been in power for 65 years without elections.
