If the Cuban people are suffering through hunger and collapsing homes due to criminal neglect by the Castro dictatorship, imagine the animals in Cuba’s zoos. Sick and starving animals, dirty pens, and empty displays mark the zoos in Havana, Bayamo, and Camagüey. This is socialism in action.
And where is PETA on this? Don’t ask. It has other fish to fry.
