Rosalba: perfect kissable mouth, perfect mouthpiece

From our Bureau of Perfect Mouthpieces for the Ministry of Truth with some assistance from our Bureau of Unusually Attractive Communists With Pouty Lips

Finding new employees has just become a lot easier for Castro, Inc.’s Ministry of Truth. For starters, announcers created by AI don’t have to be paid. And they will always parrot the Ministry’s propaganda flawlessly, with no personal inflexions or hint of sarcasm. In other words, “Rosalba”, the new AI announcer of Radio Sancti Spiritus Rosalba is the perfect communist.

No free will whatsoever. And her AI avatar is not only beautiful enough to compete in the Miss Universe pageant, but also race neutral. Plus, her accent is not the least bit chusma. Go HERE to meet Rosalba, the new star of Radio Bembita

Loosely translated from Cubanos Por El Mundo

After the unprecedented wave of migration in Cuba, journalists, announcers, presenters, and media workers have left, resulting in several vacancies. Consequently, Cuban radio has employed the first presenter created with Artificial Intelligence (AI).

The avatar, named Rosalba, made her debut this Thursday in Sancti Spíritus.

The “new presenter” of Cuban radio premiered at the start of the La Guayabera 5.10 Technology Fair, an event dedicated to the 510th anniversary of the city’s founding, following an explanation detailing that AI would be used to “animate stories initially conceived for broadcast and now available on the YouTube channel.”

But this is not the only use the regime has planned for the virtual communicator. Due to the shortage of writers, AI will also generate “texts and images for informational compendiums, as well as graphic designs for the internet.”

At the launch of the virtual presenter on Radio Sancti Spíritus, it was highlighted that this is the “first of its kind in Cuba,” which “integrates radio and audiovisual production in the editorial management of the media.”

In the YouTube clip, Rosalba introduces herself after an introduction accompanied by a jingle about the presenter.

Rosalba invited listeners to enjoy the contents on Radio Sancti Spíritus’ YouTube channel, including programs about the culture and history of Sancti Spíritus.

Given the massive exodus on the island, it is very likely that she is the first virtual presenter on Cuban radio, but not the last, to fill the void left by broadcasting professionals.
