Cubans keep dying for Czar Vlad the Invader in Ukraine, and not all of them are hungry youths, but actually seasoned members of Castro, Inc.’s Armed Forces. Naturally, the real number of Cuban deaths remains unknown. So far, nearly all of the deaths have been reported by the Ukrainian armed forces or the families and acquaintances of the dead mercenaries. According to a Ukrainian source quoted by ARC (Asamblea de la Resistencia Cubana), as many of 40% of the Cubans fighting for Russia are NOT mere mercenaries, but elite members of Cuba’s military. Add this item to the long list of crimes committed by Castro, Inc. on behalf of its Russian patrons.

Lieutenant Colonel Kyrylo Veres of the Ukrainian army presented further evidence of the presence of Cubans on the front lines during 2024. In an interview with the newspaper Ukrainska Pravda, he specifically mentioned the involvement of mercenaries serving Russia in the battles taking place in the Soledar-Siversk direction in the Donetsk region, eastern Ukraine.

The decorated military officer stated that his battalion has fought against units from the so-called Luhansk People’s Republic, the Akhmat battalion (Chechnya), Ossetians, members of the disbanded Wagner private military company, the Russian army, and Cubans.

Veres, a legend among Ukrainian military personnel, showed photos of identity documents and a driver’s license of two Cubans, found among the belongings of soldiers killed in combat in June in that eastern Ukraine area.

He explained that Ukrainian forces, after intense fighting with heavy losses for the invaders, retrieved the bodies of two Cubans.

One Russian prisoner captured in the Siversk area declared that at least 16 Cubans were in that sector with the invading Russian forces. Since April, the Russian offensive in that area has intensified, according to the Ukrainian portal Euromaindapress.com. At that time, the deployment of about 80,000 elite Moscow troops for the Siversk offensive was reported, with the goal of subsequently capturing the strategic enclave of Kramatorsk. Intense fighting was reported throughout that area in April, May, and June.

The Cuban Resistance Assembly, based in Miami, showed in a video published this Sunday the photos of the identity cards of Leonel Fundichely Duquesne and Denis Frank Pacheco Rubio, allegedly killed in the war, as well as the latter’s driver’s license. Fundichely Duquesne’s documentation shows his residence in Luyanó, 10 de Octubre municipality, Havana, and Denis Frank’s in Raúl Sancho neighborhood, Santa Clara, Villa Clara province. The video also showed an image of one of the fallen soldiers.

In the same material, Orlando Gutiérrez Boronat, general secretary of the Cuban Resistance Assembly, said that Cuban troops in Ukraine are helping “in key locations the Russian troops against the Ukrainian patriots” and spoke of “special troops” and “elite members of the Castro regime’s troops.”

“Cuba cannot afford to waste its youth in wars that have nothing to do with the enhancement of Cuba as a nation and with a future of freedom and democracy for Cubans,” he said.
